Connor hates T.V.

Connor hates T.V. While his friends are all watching Toy Story, The Bee Movie, and Care Bears. . .Connor has steadily refused. He won't acknowledge Sesame Street and thumbs his nose at Noggin.

But, We have found one show that Connor enjoys. In fact, he goes crazy! Connor LOVES ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew). When he sees the different groups get on stage to perform, he jumps up and starts head bobbing. After a bit of bobbing, he then bends down and starts hitting his legs in a crazy country western style of dance.

When each performance is over, he gets really angry. He screams and cries and throws the remote to me hoping that I will rewind the dance crew so he can dance again.

Logan watching Connor

Connor was strapped in his chair eating an ice cream cone and Logan was helping me watch him. So I hear Logan say, "So, Ice Cream. . .Connor. . known each other long?"

Logan and Monopoly

Logan loves monopoly! So - we packed it up and took it to Grandma's for a night. Kevin had to work late, and didn't finish up until after 10, so it was just Grandpa, Grandma, Logan and I. Connor was already down for the night.

I told my parents that my boss told employees that she use to be a stripper. I thought it was odd for her to tell people that. My Dad corrected me and said I shouldn't talk about such things in front of Logan. My Mom said that Logan didn't even know what that meant and to calm down. So Logan responded with, "Yes I do, Grandma!" My Mom asked him what it was, and Logan started giggling and said, "I do it all the time!"

Connor and Daddy

I know I'm blogging a lot about Connor, but the little dude is changing so much! He use to have to have Mommy for nighttime and didn't want Kevin at all. Now, he has been nursing for about 30 seconds, sitting up, and yelling Da! Da! Da! until Kevin comes to walk him around the house.

The only time he wants to nurse is if he wakes up in the middle of the night. He has been sleeping through for the past two weeks. Now that his molars are through, he doesn't seem to need me much anymore.

Connor and his duck.

Connor received a wooden duck on a stick that flaps it's wings when you push it around for Christmas from his Aunt Kat. He hasn't become fond of anything yet - no blankies or stuffed animals or lovies of any kind. Until the duck.

Connor pushes the duck around the house saying "quack quack quack" over and over. He asks to bring it with him when he goes to the sitters. He screams whenever it is put away or Logan touches it.

Connor is truly in love with his duck.

Connor's Molars

So, Connor has been a terror over the past month or so. His left eye became gooey, but he never ran a fever or had any other signs of sickness. He chased Logan around the house and repeatedly bit him, squealed unhappily at Chester (His Grandma's Golden Retriever) and repeatedly hit.

Turns out the poor little dude isn't a holy monster after all. After his eye has healed up again on its own, I found four little molars poking out of his gums. Poor guy was being tormented and was just sharing his frustrations.

I'm relieved to find out that I did not birth the Anti-Christ.

Polar Express - Cuyahoga Valley Railroad

Every year, Kevin and I make a point to find Santa so that Logan can get in a special visit in. One year, Santa was able to take time out of his busy schedule and drive his off-season Honda Accord over to my parents. This year, we met up with him on the Polar Express.

The experience was amazing. I ran out to Old Navy and got P.J's for the family so we could all fit in. Kevin and I both complemented our outfits with scarves and Connor Baby wore his festive green bib.

We listened to the 24 hour Christmas song station that Kevin adores so much each year! And Logan and I practiced singing obnoxious Christmas songs on the way to the station (located near Luigi's).

Once there, we boarded the train while listening to Polar Express songs from the movie. After being seated and greeted by elves, we were read a story and given hot chocolate and cookies. Logan feels that the hot chocolate was the "best hot chocolate of his life!" Connor felt the cookie was much better.

After an hour, we arrived at the North Pole which was decorated with hobos, singing christmas trees, elves, lights, and pretty much everything the kids would love to see. One guy rocked out on his guitar in front of our train window, while another rode a neat bike. One elf did the Marcarena while others smiled and waved.

After seeing the station and waving at all the elves, Santa snuck onto our train! Logan was the first boy on the train and spotted him first. He jumped up in his seat, twisted around, and flung himself into Santa's arms. Santa hugged him tight and asked what he wanted for Christmas. Logan said that he wanted a skate board and that Connor wanted a new diaper. After their visit, Santa gave Logan his very own bell off of the reindeer sleigh.

Logan told me that he was sure that it was Rudolph's bell because he was the first boy on the train and Rudolph was the first deer on the sleigh. He held it tight and slept with it under his pillow for days afterwards!

On the way back, Connor decided he wanted to nurse. I did so, and scandalized a woman who sat across the aisle.

Logan ended the evening by begging for more hot chocolate (two wasn't enough) and then falling asleep in the car next to his brother.

It was a great night! Once Kevin's computer is up again, we'll finally get the pictures up.
